Today in class we got into groups of 5's and analysed the new Don't let Dunstable die brief, this was a a way to get a thorough understanding of the brief and the grading criteria.
We then gave our own opinions on what we think would make the town of Dunstable a better place, still in our groups.
We then read the grading criteria and analysed the text to give us a greater understanding on exactly what additions to include to boost our marks to merit and distinction grades.
This was the first time that we had done a group analysis of the brief and I found this task very insightful and informative. I prefer this to simply reading the brief alone without discussion, I feel that going over the brief and grading criteria like this has outlined the specific tasks in order to complete and achieve merit and distinction grades.
