The aim and purpose of this brief is to explore the importance of storytelling using digital technology whilst working for client. This type of medium is often used for advertising and promotion by both commercial and non-profit enterprises, I shall create a motion graphic piece that will captivate the Dunstable community as a whole and make the area more appealing to shopper's thus increasing footfall in the town centre. I shall do this by researching; how and why Dunstable is in decline using a range of sources;motion graphics, how they're created and who uses them; communicating with the public (e.g surveys/questionnaires) to see what they would wish to see in Dunstable, as well as meeting the client to discuss any requirements they may have.
